Saginaw Valley Centers, Inc., dba DOT Caring Centers, Inc., is a substance abuse treatment provider licensed by the State of Michigan since January 1981. The organization operates multiple sites offering outpatient and residential services for substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. DOT was one of the first treatment agencies in Michigan to develop an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for substance use disorders and offers educational groups particularly for clients in early stages of abuse or dependency. Services include comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments, individualized treatment planning, group therapy, group counseling, individual and family counseling, case management, and aftercare planning. The residential facility has a 36-bed capacity with a structured daily schedule including separate traditional and co-occurring groups, individual and family counseling, and recovery coach services. The organization also operates programs for the legal system and Drug Court programs.
