About Detroit Recovery Project
Detroit Recovery Project is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) that provides outpatient recovery support services for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Founded in 2005, the organization treats the whole person through integrated programs of primary medical and behavioral healthcare. Their program philosophy emphasizes developing a healthy recovery ecosystem focused on five key areas: health and wellness, spirituality, employment/education/training, family, and recovery support. Detroit Recovery Project operates multiple locations in Detroit and mobile units providing services to the community, with a mission to support recovery that strengthens, rebuilds, and empowers individuals, families and communities experiencing co-occurring mental illness and substance use disorders through culturally competent holistic health services.
