Desert Bloom Recovery LLCIOP Program in Victorville, CA
Great to meet you
Desert Bloom Recovery is a substance abuse and addiction treatment facility offering outpatient services for individuals unable to commit to full-time residential treatment due to home and workplace schedules. The practice serves clients struggling with drug and alcohol addiction through a range of modalities including intensive outpatient treatment (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), standard outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare services. They also offer a 52-week Domestic Violence Offenders Program for court-mandated, probation, and parole-referred individuals. Treatment includes withdrawal management, individual and group therapy, relapse prevention training, family counseling, skills workshops, and aftercare planning. Clients in IOP attend sessions Monday through Friday while continuing to live at home or in sober living residences, allowing them to apply recovery principles to real-life situations. The facility accepts TRICARE insurance and serves veterans through VA programs.

What a first session looks like
Virtual & In-PersonIn the first individual therapy session, your assigned professional counselor will assess your motivations and work with you to set treatment goals such as learning coping skills, managing emotions without using drugs, and enhancing social supports. Individual therapy sessions occur at least once weekly for 45 minutes to one hour.
Specialties & focus areas
Recovery focus
Other focus areas
Evidence-based approaches
CBT
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Spots the thought-feeling-action loops that fuel urges, then rewires them with practical skills you take into the moment.
Group therapy
Group Therapy. A small facilitated circle where people working on similar struggles practice naming what is hard, hearing themselves in others, and learning skills together. The room is the medicine.
12-step facilitation
Twelve-Step Facilitation. Helps you engage with mutual-aid fellowships (GA, AA, SMART) as a recovery community rather than a solo grind.
Holistic
Holistic Care. Adds nutrition, sleep, movement, and mind-body practices alongside the clinical work. Recovery is whole-person; the body matters too.
Trauma-informed care
Trauma-Informed Care. Approaches addiction as something layered on top of unprocessed trauma, not in isolation. Pacing matters more than confrontation.
