Deschutes Bestcare – Bend

BestCare is one of the longest-serving substance abuse and mental health treatment providers in Central Oregon, founded in November 1997. The organization operates residential and outpatient services across four cities and is the only Spanish-speaking alcohol and drug rehab facility in Oregon. BestCare treats alcohol use disorder, drug addiction, co-occurring disorders, and mental illness through a compassionate, holistic, and collaborative approach tailored to individual needs. The organization views addiction primarily as a physical disorder that affects health, relationships, and emotional and spiritual life. Many staff members have personal experience overcoming addiction themselves. BestCare is CARF-certified and maintains 24/7 medical staff and licensed addiction specialists. The organization serves diverse populations including men, women, Spanish-speaking clients, people requiring pain management, and those in the corrections system.
