Denver Indian Health and Family Services (DIHFS) is Denver's only Urban Indian Health Program providing culturally appropriate care for American Indian and Alaska Native adults, children, and families. Located in the Denver Metropolitan area serving Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson, and Weld Counties, DIHFS provides primary care, dental care, behavioral health services, diabetes management and disease prevention, health insurance enrollment, and community resource connections. The organization is rooted in Native culture and community, committed to restoring full health and wellbeing—physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually—to all American Indian and Alaska Native people. DIHFS offers culturally grounded medication-assisted recovery services and provides free Naloxone Nasal Spray and Fentanyl Test Strips to support community safety.
