Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services (DPCS) provides Behavioral Health, Developmental, and Prevention Services to the Danville and Pittsylvania County area. The Behavioral Health Services Division delivers mental health and substance use care through programs including Crisis Services, Rapid Access Services, Adult and Child/Adolescent Case Management and Outpatient Services, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Supportive Housing Programs, Assertive Community Treatment, and Psychiatric Services. The Developmental Services Division assists citizens with developmental disabilities in achieving opportunities including housing, skill-building, employment, and relationship development. The Prevention Services Division provides behavioral health wellness programs designed to reduce substance abuse and promote mental health. DPCS operates Genoa Pharmacy and offers a range of community-based supports focused on empowerment, recovery, and the highest level of community participation.
