Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch

Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is a nonprofit organization in North Dakota providing residential psychiatric treatment and outpatient mental health care for children and adolescents facing emotional, behavioral, educational, and trauma-related challenges. The organization operates residential treatment facilities in Fargo, Bismarck, and Minot, and offers on-campus education through Dakota Memorial School. The clinical team includes therapists, nurses, psychologists, addiction counselors, occupational therapists, and a psychiatrist. The Ranch employs a trauma-informed approach, asking children "What happened to you?" rather than "What is wrong with you?" and provides evidence-based therapies with a Christ-centered framework.
