Great to meet you

Crossroads provides evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment programs for patients with substance use disorders. Services include FDA-approved medications such as methadone, suboxone, SUBLOCADE, and BRIXADI; behavioral counseling that addresses the connection between substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions; peer support led by certified recovery specialists; care coordination to address unmet social needs; and contingency management. Individualized, whole-person treatment plans are customized for each patient. The program offers specialty support for pregnant patients and those with Hepatitis C. Financial options include Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE, VA CCN, commercial insurance, self-pay, and potential grant funding. Patients work with a provider and care coordinator or counselor to develop and implement their treatment plans.

Evidence-based approaches

MAT

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). Pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapy. Standard of care for opioid and alcohol use disorder; emerging evidence in gambling for impulsivity-targeting agents.

Contingency management

Contingency Management. Evidence-based reinforcement approach: small, immediate, tangible rewards for verified abstinence and engagement. Strongest evidence base of any non-medication intervention for stimulant + gambling disorder.

Group therapy

Group Therapy. A small facilitated circle where people working on similar struggles practice naming what is hard, hearing themselves in others, and learning skills together. The room is the medicine.

Relapse prevention

Relapse Prevention. Identifies your specific high-risk situations, warning signs, and choice points. Then builds a written, rehearsed plan for each so the moment is not the first time you decide.

Substance use disorder counseling

A therapeutic approach included in this provider’s plan of care. Contact for specifics on how it shows up in their work.

Telemedicine/telehealth therapy

Telehealth Therapy. Real clinical sessions delivered over video. Same evidence base as in-person care for most conditions; meets you where you actually are instead of where the office is.
