The Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH) is the public mental health system serving Los Angeles County. Led by Director Lisa Wong, Psy.D., LACDMH provides mental health services across multiple settings and service areas throughout the county. The department serves diverse populations including children ages 0-15, transition age youth ages 16-25, adults, older adults, veterans, and those involved in the court system. Services include alternative crisis response, school-based community access points, threat assessment, disaster mental health services, and public guardian services. LACDMH operates through eight service areas with navigators and community-based programs. The department provides clients with MyHealthPointe, a portal to access health information, manage appointments, view lab results, access electronic medical records, and communicate with care providers.
