Counseling Center at Yorktown Heights

The Counseling Center is an outpatient treatment facility specializing in substance use and mental health disorders. They provide person-focused treatment for individuals dealing with alcohol use disorder, substance use disorder, and co-occurring mental health conditions. The center recognizes that mental disorders and trauma often underlie addiction and focuses on treating underlying causes rather than just symptoms. They offer three levels of care: Outpatient Counseling, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Each client receives a thorough evaluation and personalized treatment plan utilizing group and individual therapies with a focus on teaching coping skills and promoting lasting recovery. The Counseling Center is part of the Praesum Healthcare family, established in 2004, which operates treatment facilities across five states along the Atlantic Coast.
