Founded in 1958, their mission is to educate, counsel, and treat people who suffer from alcoholism and other addictive diseases. They offer a full continuum of care for substance use disorder treatment, including residential treatment (28-day high-intensity or 90-day low-intensity programs), intensive outpatient programs, individual outpatient treatment, education, and assessment services. They provide specialized services for pregnant women and women with dependent children. The center also operates a Mobile Crisis Response Team available 24/7 to assist anyone experiencing a mental-health or substance-use crisis. Family education and support programs are offered through the Tootsie Davis Family Education and Support Program. Admissions are accepted seven days a week.
