Compass Recovery Center

Compass Recovery is a family-owned treatment center offering long-term engagement programming rooted in trauma-informed care. The center addresses substance use disorders, mental health issues, co-occurring disorders, trauma, and addiction. Led by founders Ted Michael and Tim Michael with clinical leadership from Maureen "Mo" Michael, LPC, the program emphasizes compassionate, personalized care with a focus on sustained recovery support. The team includes Dr. Steven J. Karp, D.O., Medical Director and triple board-certified addiction and psychiatry specialist, along with clinical staff experienced in diverse evidence-based interventions.
