Compass Health Systems is Florida's largest private mental health treatment organization, founded in July 1990 by Dr. Scott D. Segal, a triple Board-Certified Psychiatrist. The organization now operates in 11 states including California, Colorado, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas. Clinics are staffed by multi-specialty teams led by Board-Certified Psychiatrists and include Psychiatrists, Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers, Mental Health Therapists, Physician Assistants, and Certified Addiction Professionals. Services include a continuum of care through partnerships with inpatient facilities, an in-house pharmacy specializing in compounded medications, a dedicated Heroin/Opioid Treatment Center, and a 34-bed detox and residential treatment center called South Beach Detox. The organization also advances innovative treatments in Central Nervous System and Women's Health through its sister company, Segal Trials.
