Community Health and Wellness Center (CHWC) is an award-winning non-profit Federally Qualified Healthcare Center serving the underserved throughout Northwestern Connecticut. Located in Torrington, Winsted, and North Canaan, CHWC provides high-quality medical, dental, behavioral health, and social services for individuals and families. The center offers primary care, pediatrics, women's health, behavioral health, dental care, specialty services including chiropractic care, diabetes management, infectious disease and HIV care, geriatric consultation, nutrition services, and pharmacy. CHWC emphasizes prevention and coordinated whole-person care. They accept most commercial insurances, Medicaid (HUSKY), Medicare, and self-pay patients with sliding fee discounts.
