About Community Health and Outreach Center
Northeastern Center is a community mental health center serving northeast Indiana since 1977. Located across 12 locations in DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble, and Steuben counties, the agency provides comprehensive behavioral health services including outpatient therapy, medication management, substance use treatment, inpatient hospital care, adult residential homes, crisis services available 24/7, and a clubhouse program. The center serves individuals with serious mental illness, children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals struggling with substance abuse. The agency employs over 200 staff including psychiatric, nursing, and master's-level therapists. Services are offered on a sliding fee scale based on income and family size, and the center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP.
