Great to meet you

CHCS serves a service area of approximately 23,500 square miles and benefits more than 9,000 people annually through its professional staff. The organization operates Certified Behavioral Health Clinics in Bangor with planned expansions to Dover, Ellsworth, and Lincoln.
Role
Residential Treatment
Evidence-based approaches
Cognitive behavioral therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Spots the thought-feeling-action loops that fuel urges, then rewires them with practical skills you take into the moment.
Group therapy
Group Therapy. A small facilitated circle where people working on similar struggles practice naming what is hard, hearing themselves in others, and learning skills together. The room is the medicine.
Integrated mental and substance use disorder treatment
Integrated Treatment. Treats addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions in the same plan, rather than sequentially. Most clinically effective when both are present.
Individual psychotherapy
Individual Psychotherapy. One-to-one sessions with a licensed clinician. The standard-bearer of mental-health care; most evidence-based plans build around it.
Telemedicine/telehealth therapy
Telehealth Therapy. Real clinical sessions delivered over video. Same evidence base as in-person care for most conditions; meets you where you actually are instead of where the office is.
