Community Behavioral Health is a state-licensed, Joint Commission Accredited outpatient mental health clinic located throughout the Eastern Shore of Maryland (Salisbury, Cambridge, and Centerville) and Columbia, Maryland. Founded in 2012 through collaboration between the Maryland Department of Mental Health and Hygiene and Drs. Niru and Sushma Jani, the clinic provides collaborative comprehensive services to children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and families. Services include medication evaluation and management, skills-based individual/family/couples therapy, substance abuse and addiction treatment, behavioral health home services, psychiatric rehabilitation programs, intensive outpatient programs, targeted case management, and telepsychiatry services for deaf and hard of hearing populations. All services are delivered by licensed adult and child psychiatrists and therapists. The organization maintains grant-funded programs including Healthy Families, Active Parenting, Teen Intervene, Safe & Stable, and urgent care clinics across five counties.
