Colonial House, Inc. has served the York community since 1969, providing substance abuse treatment and support services. The organization provides safe, supportive, and therapeutic environments for individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders. What began as an eight-bed residential home has grown into a multi-program organization dedicated to accessible, evidence-based, trauma-informed care. Colonial House serves both men and women and offers residential programs as well as outpatient services, which were introduced in 2004. The programs are designed to promote safety, empowerment, and individualized treatment planning with trauma-informed, gender-responsive, and ASAM-aligned care approaches.
