Coastal Horizons

Coastal Horizons is a nationally accredited, non-profit corporation providing a broad range of evidence-based substance use, mental health, crisis intervention, justice, and wellness services across more than half of the 100 counties in North Carolina. The organization offers comprehensive prevention, outpatient treatment, and support services for clients and their families, including specialized services in Spanish. Services include substance use and mental health treatment, opioid treatment programs, crisis intervention, rape crisis services for sexual assault victims, emergency youth shelter for ages 6-18 available 24/7, primary health care through Horizons Health, justice services across 53 counties, and family-centered services. Coastal Horizons is committed to health equity and does not deny access to services due to inability to pay, offering a sliding fee schedule based on family size and income.
