Clark County Community Services

Clark County Recovery Court is a Treatment Alternatives and Diversion (TAD) program collaboratively designed and implemented by Clark County and JusticePoint. The program was created to provide offenders with an opportunity to enter voluntary substance abuse treatment, case management, and risk reduction services as an alternative to jail or prison confinement. Launched in January 2022 following a TAD grant award from the Wisconsin Department of Justice, the program reflects a commitment to evidence-informed criminal justice practices aimed at reducing recidivism and improving community outcomes. The court operates under the collaborative framework established by the Clark County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, which was created in March 2021 to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the local criminal justice system.
