CHI Health Midwest is the Midwest Division of CommonSpirit Health, a nonprofit Catholic health system. The organization operates a regional health care network serving communities in Southwest Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota and North Dakota. CHI Health Midwest comprises one academic medical center, 28 acute care hospitals, 200 clinic locations, 18 critical access hospitals, two free-standing behavioral health facilities, one center for the developmentally disabled, and one home health agency. The organization employs approximately 12,500 employees and 4,122 employed physicians and advanced practice clinicians.
