About Cheyenne VA Healthcare System
The Veterans Affairs (VA) provides mental health services to Veterans through multiple access points including VA medical centers, Vet Centers, and telemental health programs. Services address PTSD, depression, military sexual trauma (MST), anxiety, suicide prevention, substance use problems, grief, anger management, and readjustment to civilian life. Veterans can access services regardless of discharge status or VA health care enrollment. The VA served over 1.7 million Veterans with mental health services and offers peer support, counseling, therapy, medication, and combinations thereof. Crisis support is available 24/7 through the Veterans Crisis Line. Services can be accessed by calling a VA medical center, Vet Center, or the main line at 877-222-8387.
