About Cherokee Etowah Dekalb CMHC
CED Mental Health Center has been serving Northeast Alabama since 1974. The center provides public and private funded mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention services. They serve over 5,000 yearly consumers across Cherokee, Etowah, and Dekalb Counties in Alabama. The center offers substance abuse treatment through individual counseling and intensive outpatient groups, with offices operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Additional services include treatment for dual diagnosis, HIV education, TB education, case management, prevention services, and assessments for pregnant women and intravenous drug users.
