Chemical Addictions Recovery Effort (CARE) Inc. is a non-profit agency in Panama City, Florida providing prevention, intervention, treatment, and recovery services for substance use disorders across six counties in Northwest Florida (Bay, Calhoun, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, and Washington). CARE offers a full range of licensed services for all age groups, including treatment for co-occurring disorders. The agency integrates involvement with Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and other support groups as an integral part of treatment. CARE works with individuals and their families, recognizing that chemical addiction affects loved ones as much as the person with the disease. Services are coordinated with community organizations and the agency is licensed by and operates in accordance with Florida Department of Children and Families regulations.
