The Center for Counseling & Consultation is a Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving central Kansas since 1968. Located across eight sites in Barton, Rice, Stafford, and Pawnee counties, the organization provides mental health and substance use services including prevention, treatment, crisis response, and recovery. The Center serves people of all ages regardless of insurance status, ability to pay, or level of need. Services include intake and therapy at The Canopy in Great Bend, children and youth programs at The Heritage, employment and adult groups at The Path, community support services, and branch locations in Lyons, Larned, and Stafford offering services by appointment. The organization is governed by a locally representative board including consumers and family members.
