Cayuga Centers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring children have a safe, loving home. Founded in 1852, they work to keep families together and reunite those who have been separated. Services include foster care, home and community-based treatment and support, unaccompanied children services, respite care, and intellectual and developmental disability supports. They provide temporary foster placements while family problems are resolved, and for unaccompanied migrant children during the process of identifying a parent or sponsor. The organization also offers medical and psychological support, advocacy, learning and cultural enrichment. Foster parents receive 24/7 guidance and support from the organization.
