Catholic Social Services of the UP

Catholic Social Services of the Upper Peninsula (CSSUP) is a fully accredited organization providing substance abuse and mental health services to vulnerable persons and families in the Upper Peninsula. The organization offers individual outpatient treatment and relapse prevention groups for addiction recovery and mental health treatment. CSSUP also provides family services through its child welfare program, including adoption assistance, foster care, and foster home licensing. The organization serves to connect clients with community resources to achieve long-term success in addiction recovery or mental health treatment and serves people of all ages in the community. CSSUP is guided by Catholic social principles including human dignity, common good, advocacy for the poor and vulnerable, and commitment to moral teachings of the Catholic Church.
