The Caring Center of Wichita provides outpatient counseling services for individuals with substance abuse and mental health concerns. The center specializes in treating co-occurring disorders and develops customized treatment plans that integrate mental health care with substance abuse treatment. Services are delivered through individual therapy, couple therapy, family therapy, and group therapy by licensed therapists. The center serves all genders and ages, including children, adolescents, families, young adults, and adults, as well as LGBTQ individuals and people involved in the criminal justice system. They work in collaboration with medical providers on medication management and offer virtual sessions by phone or online as well as in-person services. The center is also a SB-123 provider for offenders convicted under K.S.A 21-5706 and administers court evaluations and assessments for drug and alcohol abuse treatment. Additionally, they offer smoking cessation classes following the American Lung Association's Freedom from Smoking Program.
