Care Center

Southwestern Pennsylvania Human Services (SPHS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing a wide variety of human services throughout southwestern Pennsylvania for over 55 years. The organization serves Armstrong, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland counties and operates through several affiliates. The CARE Center, Inc., one of its affiliates, has over 45 years of experience and provides a continuum of quality, recovery-based, trauma-informed integrated services including education, intervention, case management, treatment, aftercare, and referrals to individuals and families in Butler, Greene, and Washington Counties. SPHS system services include child care, aging programs, mental health treatment and care, substance abuse treatment, homeless assistance, home health care, nutrition services, and family support services. The organization also operates Centers of Excellence to ensure that people with opioid-related substance abuse receive treatment, continued care, and community support.
