About Capital Area Human Services
Capital Area Human Services (CAHS) is a government agency serving the capital area region with more than 10 locations. They provide services for substance abuse, behavioral health, and developmental disabilities for both adults and children/adolescents. Clinical treatment teams may include psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and nurses based on individualized treatment plans. CAHS accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and many private insurances. Fees are assessed on a sliding scale based on family income and household size. All individuals are welcome regardless of ability to pay. The agency is dedicated to providing caring and responsive services to help clients live healthy, productive lives.
