Cape Assist

Cape Assist is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Wildwood at 3819 New Jersey Avenue, serving Cape May County since 1981. The organization is dedicated to preventing substance misuse and promoting healthier lifestyles through education, advocacy, counseling, and community collaboration. Cape Assist operates as a member of the New Jersey Prevention Network and provides evidence-based prevention strategies for individuals, families, and communities. Services include school-based counseling, public awareness campaigns, the Hope One Initiative for Narcan training, after-school programs for youth, and family resilience initiatives such as the Strengthening Families Program. The organization also manages the Children's Interagency Coordinating Council of Cape May County to support children and families in the region.
