Burkwood Treatment Center

Burkwood Treatment Center is located near Willow River State Park in Hudson, Wisconsin and has provided treatment for over 20 years. The center serves adult men and women struggling with substance abuse, chemical dependency, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Treatment occurs in a highly structured environment with an emphasis on physical healing, spiritual enrichment, and emotional development. Burkwood features evidence-based programming that incorporates 12-Step recovery principles, supplemented by the Making AA Easier (MAAEZ) program. The facility maintains a low participant-to-counselor ratio and offers individualized treatment plans that address each person's unique needs, strengths, and goals. Staff includes counselors specializing in addiction and mental health, a psychiatrist, a registered nurse, and additional specialists as needed.
