Interim, Inc. is a mental health services and housing provider in Monterey County, California, founded in 1975. The agency provides mental health treatment, affordable housing, residential treatment, social support, homeless outreach and support, and supported education and employment services for adults with serious mental illnesses. Interim is the only agency in Monterey County offering this comprehensive continuum of care. The organization uses evidence-based practices including Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Wellness Recovery Action Plans, Seeking Safety, and peer support. Services include crisis residential treatment, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), day treatment, intensive outpatient programs, outpatient programs, peer-led wellness programs, and supported employment services.
