About this practice
About
Bridge House / Grace House is a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week residential treatment facility providing substance-use disorder treatment to homeless, indigent, uninsured, underinsured, and unemployed individuals in the Greater New Orleans area. The organization operates two separate facilities: Bridge House for males located at 4150 Earhart Boulevard and Grace House for women located at 6321 Stratford Place. Founded over 65 years ago on the principle that recovery cannot be maintained without meeting individuals' basic needs, the organization treats over 700 clients annually. Services are offered regardless of ability to pay. Clinical and vocation-based programs are designed to validate individuals as important community members while promoting personal responsibility in recovery. The organization provides a continuum of care with specialized addictive disorder treatment services and life skills development to improve clients' psychosocial adjustment and functioning in peer, family, vocational, legal, and social relationships.
