Breath of Life Counseling Service LLC

Breath of Life Counseling Services LLC is an outpatient mental health and addiction treatment practice founded by Ed Fernandez, MSW, LCADC, who began his addiction career in 1997 at Princeton House. The practice specializes in substance abuse and alcohol abuse treatment, family and couples therapy, and mental health services including depression and anxiety. They serve diverse populations including LGBTQ+ individuals and those with learning disabilities. The practice is staffed by clinicians including Ed Fernandez (Director, Bi-Lingual Counselor) and Elaine H. Handleman, MSW, LCSW. Ed established the practice out of his desire to serve underserved communities, drawing on his experience as an instructor and counselor in various clinical and educational settings.
