Bobby Benson Center
About Bobby Benson Center
Bobby Benson Center is Hawaii's premier mental health and substance use treatment provider founded in 1990, offering a comprehensive continuum of care for teens and adults. The center provides residential treatment for adolescents ages 13-17 in a structured, therapeutic environment on Oahu's North Shore in Kahuku, as well as outpatient (OP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) services for both adolescents and adults at their Kalihi location. Programs address substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges through individual and group therapy, family therapy, trauma-focused interventions, substance use education, life skills training, and relapse prevention. Family engagement is a core component of their treatment philosophy, with families invited to participate in therapy sessions and visits. The organization emphasizes healing through connection, empowerment, and transformation, and serves as a trusted behavioral health leader across the Hawaiian islands.
