Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare

Burrell Behavioral Health (BRBH) is a community service board established under the code of Virginia to provide behavioral healthcare serving the cities of Roanoke and Salem and the counties of Botetourt, Craig, and Roanoke. Founded in 1969, the organization operates multiple programs throughout the Roanoke Valley with over 400 employees. BRBH offers accessible services including therapy, medication management, case management, crisis services, housing support, and community outreach. They treat mental health disorders, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders through flexible, affordable, and timely services. New clients begin with an intake appointment where clinicians learn about the client's mental health history and needs to determine appropriate services.
