BHcare is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health. They provide comprehensive and integrated mental health and substance use treatment for adults, children, and families across the South-Central Connecticut region. Services include individualized outpatient mental health and substance use treatment at clinics in Ansonia and North Branford. The Parent Child Resource Center offers specialized psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and teens with behavioral health issues. BHcare operates the Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services and the Hope Family Justice Center, providing wraparound services for domestic violence victims. The Alliance for Prevention and Wellness, a program of BHcare, delivers prevention services for substance use, suicide, and problem gambling using evidence-based approaches.
