Mental Health Association (MHA) is a multidisciplinary provider serving over 5,800 participants annually across Greater Springfield. The organization offers a comprehensive range of services including therapies for emotional health and wellness, substance use recovery programming, services for developmental disabilities and acquired brain injury, residential and housing services, and community living support. GRIT is a 24/7 residential program for adults with both substance use disorder and mental health diagnoses. New Way provides residential services and adaptive accommodations for individuals with acquired brain injury, transitioning clients from nursing homes into purpose-designed residences. MHA also operates housing and residential sites using Housing First principles to address homelessness and ensure access to safe, affordable housing. The organization serves adults, children, families, and couples with long-term or temporary mental health and substance use concerns.
