BestCare is a substance abuse and mental health treatment provider in Central Oregon, founded in November 1997. The organization operates residential and outpatient services across four cities and is the only Spanish-speaking alcohol and drug rehab facility in Oregon. BestCare treats alcohol use disorder, opioid use disorder, and other substance use disorders, as well as co-occurring mental health conditions including addiction affecting pain management and those involved in the corrections systems. The program uses a holistic, compassionate approach tailored to individual needs, emphasizing that addiction is primarily a physical disorder with emotional and spiritual impacts. BestCare offers detox, residential treatment, and outpatient programs with 24/7 medical supervision during withdrawal. The organization partners with referring physicians and provides ongoing communication about patient progress. Staff members are medically trained and include many who have personally experienced and overcome addiction.
