Advantage Behavioral Health Systems is a community behavioral health provider serving Northeast Georgia across 10 counties. The organization provides person-centered treatment and recovery support to individuals and families experiencing behavioral health challenges, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and addictive diseases. They serve uninsured and underinsured individuals with severe persistent mental illness, substance use disorder, and intellectual developmental disability. As one of 22 Community Service Boards in Georgia created by state statute in 1993, Advantage offers multiple service lines including addictive disease services, adult community-based programs, adult day programs, clinic-based services, crisis stabilization, health education and integrated care, homeless services, residential services, supported employment programs, youth services, and justice programs.
