Baptist Health of Arkansas is the state's most comprehensive and largest not-for-profit healthcare organization, comprising 12 hospitals, urgent care centers, a senior living community, and over 75 primary and specialty care clinics across more than 300 points of access. The organization traces its origins to 1921 when the Baptist State Hospital was officially incorporated, beginning with fewer than 100 beds.
