Association for Individual Development

AID (Association for Individual Development) is a community-based organization operating in the greater Fox Valley area and other western suburban counties in Illinois. The organization offers tailored, consumer-focused programs and services designed to be equitable and inclusive for individuals facing developmental, intellectual, physical, and mental health challenges, those who have experienced trauma, those in immediate or chronic crises, those who are chronically unhoused, and those at risk. Services include behavioral health services (outpatient mental health services, psychiatric services, supportive housing), crisis care services (community support team, crisis lines, mobile crisis response, re-entry services, street outreach, and the living room walk-in crisis support), developmental disabilities services, and employment first services.
