Catholic Charities is a movement to improve lives with a family of nearly 2,000 colleagues, over 4,000 volunteers, and more than 10,000 donors. The organization was founded in Baltimore in 1792 when Archbishop John Carroll declared that a portion of all parish revenues be set aside for the relief of the poor.
