Assessment Services

Assessment Services provides court-ordered substance abuse evaluations, education, and monitoring services for individuals charged with substance-related offenses such as DUI or drug possession. Based in Overland Park, Kansas, the practice serves primarily Johnson, Wyandotte, Douglas, Miami, and Leavenworth counties, with evaluations accepted in municipal and district courts throughout Kansas and most U.S. states. Founded in 1995, Assessment Services is Kansas state certified by the BSRB and licensed to provide evaluation, education, referral, and treatment services. The practice offers remote evaluations via phone-call interviews with evaluators, DUI and drug assessments, SATOP classes, urinalysis testing, and monitoring services. The director and owner, Barry Reed, holds a bachelor's and master's degree in psychology and is a state and nationally certified substance abuse counselor with experience dating to 1985.
