About Aspell/Hardin County

Aspell Recovery Center has served the West Tennessee area since 1979 addressing addiction and co-occurring disorders. The organization operates three campuses in Jackson, Humboldt, and Savannah, treating approximately 120 individuals daily across residential, intensive outpatient, aftercare, and housing options. Aspell is a non-profit licensed by the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. The program offers a continuum of care including assessment for alcohol and drug issues, intensive outpatient programs, group and individual counseling, case management, family services, and recovery living options. Aspell/Hardin County provides a 12-bed transitional living facility for IOP participants and extended living facilities for clients completing initial treatment phases. The organization serves clients stepping down from higher levels of care and accepts direct admissions. Many staff members have personal recovery experience, and the program employs licensed and master-level counselors. Aspell measures success through abstinence, employment outcomes, rearrest rates, and treatment benefits at six months post-discharge.
