The Asian Association of Utah (AAU) is a community organization founded in 1977 to assist Vietnamese refugees following the end of the Vietnam War. The organization now serves victims of human trafficking, refugees, and refugee youth from over 100 countries. AAU's work is trauma-informed and linguistically sensitive, delivered by specialized staff. The organization operates three program pillars: Human Trafficking Support, Refugee Services, and Behavioral Health. AAU is Utah's largest human trafficking victim service provider and operates across 24 of Utah's 29 counties through a network of 32 collaborative partners.
