Arms Acres is a 191-bed licensed inpatient treatment facility located in Carmel Hamlet, NY on a 54-acre site in Putnam County. The facility provides comprehensive substance use disorder treatment and behavioral health services for adults with alcohol and drug use disorders, co-occurring medical and mental health disorders including bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. Services include medically supervised detoxification, inpatient adult rehabilitation programs, and outpatient services across three clinic locations in Bronx, Carmel, and Queens. Treatment utilizes evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and rational emotive behavioral therapy.
