Alcohol and Drug Services (ADS) is a local non-profit organization that provides prevention and treatment services to individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder. ADS offers a range of outpatient treatment programs for adults meeting diagnostic criteria for substance use disorder, including Basic Outpatient Counseling, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and an Opioid Treatment Program (OTP). The OTP is a specialized program that incorporates medication-assisted therapy with buprenorphine (Subutex) and ongoing outpatient counseling. Treatment includes daily on-site dosing and intensive outpatient individual and group counseling. ADS also provides Prevention and Early Intervention Services aimed at preventing and delaying the onset of substance use among young people. The organization serves the local community and has announced participation in the VA's Community Care Network to serve veterans.
