Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program

New Directions is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization located at 1981 Cherokee Road in Stockton, California, serving men and women of San Joaquin County who struggle with substance use disorder. Since 1992, the organization has provided residential and outpatient treatment, detoxification services, and medically assisted treatment to help individuals achieve clean, sober, and fulfilling lives. The three-acre campus offers a safe and supportive environment licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services. The organization collaborates with San Joaquin County Behavioral Health Services, court systems, and other agencies to provide comprehensive substance use disorder services. Medi-Cal members in San Joaquin County may qualify for no-cost treatment. The organization has provided over 500,000 bed days of treatment since its founding.
